JIMS
In May 2021, Colruyt Group acquired Belgian fitness chain JIMS. This investment aligns with the group's ambition to continue to meet consumers' needs at every stage of their lives. The USP for JIMS is that it offers affordable fitness seven days a week, both one-to-one and in groups. Members can count on always receiving exceptional services from highly-qualified staff.
The chain currently has 27 fitness clubs, mainly in large towns and cities in Belgium and Luxembourg and employs more than 100 people. And those figures are set to rise in the future.
Criteria for the club locations
- Building surface area: 1000 m² – 1500 m² (potentially over several floors)
- Good accessibility or central location
- Parking spaces: 10 – 15

The energy we consume is 100% green. That is a conscious choice.
Colruyt Group produces its own green power in wind and solar parks. This green energy production completely covers our own consumption. Moreover, our stores produce green energy locally by using solar panels or heat pumps.
Green mobility
The most sustainable mobility is the mileage you can avoid. We do this by making our locations easily accessible to customers and optimally planning our operations.
We also raise awareness among employees and suppliers to use alternative means of road transport .
We are greening the fuels. In addition to offering CNG and hydrogen in our DATS 24 petrol stations, we provide charging infrastructure in our store car parks.
